American Harvest

Nothing matches the value of the celebrations and traditions of a nation. It is a moment of national solidarity, when the community and families gather and forget the daily grind and celebrate a holiday, for a particular purpose. It is a way of expressing the heart of the nation and a time for people to express themselves.

Still, There are some really crazy ways to celebrate if you care to look.

 · Alice Springs in the dry desert center of Australia, is home to the Whacky Todd Regatta on the river that has no water. He has no oars and no substance. They are usually built of beer cans, which are the first casts by shipbuilders. The teams then run the river bed with their feet off the bottom of boats. In 1993, the race was canceled due to the menace once in a blue moon rainstorm.

 • In August, thousands of Spanish participate in the festival of La Tomatina in Buñol. Trucks loaded with tomatoes are being dumped in the city center. People throw tomatoes at each other all day, but only after the tomato has been crushed in the first hand, before being released. Even grandmothers has been quiet to participate in the festival.

If · wants hot, head to Finland for the championship the sauna. Every 30 seconds, the heat is on. The last person left in the sauna is the winner, after having kept naked ass firmly seated on the bench wood and sat upright.

 • In Coopers Hill in Gloucester, England contestants roll, chase, fall, and somersault after a wheel of cheese for a ridiculously steep hill. As a result, sprains, bruises and broken bones. No one manages to catch the cheese and you're down of the hill first is with the giant wheel of cheese. Not everyone cup of tea!

 • In the UK there is a phone throwing championships mobile

While · in the State of Wisconsin, USA, in September there is a champion of dry cow pad (manure), throwing contest.

 • Cheese feat sought is less intimidating than horses and riders racing down a slope of 69 meters at an angle of 62 degrees, known as Suicide Hill in Washington.

 · A Boryeong Mud Festival on the east coast of Korea, for the dress

 • While France is not the year International Mime Festival Contemporary.

 • In Kawasaki is a festival where men bear 12 foot phallus and women standing two versions. Not quite sure what we are celebrating here.

 · You can run with the bulls in Pamplona,

 · or choose careers in Madura bulls. Either is a festival of crunching the bones.

 • In Vanuatu it is the annual religious ceremony known as land diving on the tropical island of Pentecost, celebrating the end of the yam harvest. Virile young men from the village of diving 30 meters from the front in search of a rickety tower of homemade vid. The goal is to leave shoulders (or head) brush land. All this in order to ensure that the yam harvest next year will be good. The Queen Elizabeth English was a witness the death of one of the bridges in 1976.

 • In Greater Manchester UK black pudding throwing.

 · all know about the ability of legendary Scottish launch large objects.

 • In the Rockies, there is an annual dance where the daughters of her promise of purity to their fathers. Some do not even allow her a kiss before marriage and many of them never dance with someone other than her father or brothers. Bad luck in the single men in the area.

 • Japan hosts the Naked Festival. All male participants are dressed in diapers and large parade through the streets of winter. Onlookers throw water cold on the contestants who drink large amounts of good in an effort to stop freezing.

Many people take their holidays with them when they migrate. Some celebrations have become so popular in the host country, which have been adopted outside the immigrant community. Often it has become difficult to assess the origin of a celebration.

 • The Oktoberfest in Munich is one of these celebrations. Many countries claim as their own beer festival.

 · Although Halloween was Irish in origin, many countries around the world now celebrate Halloween, particularly the United States.

 · Week Santa and Christmas that originated in the Middle East have become the worldwide celebrations transmitted through the churches and approved by trade.
Other Celebrations remain more localized in a particular community within the host country.

 · Although the Chinese New Year is limited to the Chinese population in a country, many countries worldwide where it is celebrated.

 · Thanksgiving is an American harvest festival. Americans across the world celebrate this festival stop.

 · Melbourne Cup Race Day is celebrated by Australians, regardless of where we live

While festivals that many feel express something about the people who celebrate, I wonder! It is important as a universal community, however, we respect without censorship, how and what others choose to celebrate. Each festival meets a particular need in the individuals of that nation and becomes an integral part of their lifestyle. Perhaps you can come to some quirky celebration of your account.

Here is an even more whacky Blue Moon Opportunity.
