Digital Timer

Reason 4 was: Once configured, the system works with minimal supervision.
Once your system has intermittent mist installed correctly, the only thing left is to establish the program you want to continue. Once established, the system will follow the program with little to no intervention.
Depending on the type of misting system to decide on depends on the amount of control will be needed. Fog systems use two mechanical timers (24 hours, and an interval timer) require little supervision over an irrigation system that uses a digital timer the fog.
Misting Systems mechanically operated components and has many more moving parts that the new digital. Below is a list of components required for each type system.
Mechanical spray
- Timer 24 hours
- The timer interval
- 24 volt transformer
- water pipes
- misting nozzles
- a variety of cables (high and low voltage)
Digital misting system
- digital clock
- water pipes
- misting nozzles
- length of wire (low voltage)
The new digital meters spray and replace the 24 hours interval timer and the processor. Along with the replacement of these components, particularly fogging timer digital takes up much less space. With two mechanical timers, along with the processor will address an area of approximately 12 inches by 18 inches, where the timer Digital will have an area 4 inches by 8 inches and include both the timers and the processor.
Two other characteristics of the spray timer digital worth mentioning are the ability to use the timer to control 6 different track separate beds and spray the backup battery.
Mechanical misting systems in general, the control of a single bed spray (or "zone") with a single program. Each cut on the bed ( "Zone") gets the same amount of fog. Digital watches increase the number of beds ( "zones") may fog for five times the mechanical systems. They do this to power to have 6 completely different programs, one for each zone. " Each zone operates independently of each other.
The backup battery is by far the best feature of digital irrigation system. In the case of a power failure, the battery will keep the program was established. Once power is restored, the timer automatically know if you need to fog, according to the program, or if you have to wait until the day next. In the case of a power failure to control fogging systems mechanic, you have to physically set the timer for 24 hours to get the system running again. If they are aware that power had gone out for a number of hours, the program of mechanical systems will be out for the same number of hours. Its courts could get the fog during the night hours that can lead to stress, or receive no fog at all during the hottest hours of the day, without certainly be killed.
Intermittent misting systems that use digital timers require only minimal supervision to ensure that the system is working properly, no broken or leaking pipes, and to ensure the courts are getting the right amount of fog. This can be accomplished in a few minutes, then you can meet up the system takes care of everything itself.
