One of my favorite things is a chopped salad. The reason is the different textures, little bites of different flavors in one bite. This is particularly healthy, so because there are so many ingredients and each brings something nutritious to the party.
As always, feel free to think outside the recipe and add or remove your palate.
While grilling one or more of the ingredients do not need to add a surprise of Smokey-ing that summer written all over it.

Ingredients
4 cups of fresh vegetables cut or broken to bite size. Arugula is delicious with the following combination other ingredients
1 cup sliced green beans small, 1 / 2 "or something
1 cup chopped Sugar Snap Peas
1 cup tomatoes mature
1 cup chopped cucumber
Chef's Note:
When a recipe calls for one cup of chopped ingredients measured after cutting. If you start with, For example, a cup of sugar snaps around, then chop is likely to fall short for the desired amount.
Grilled Vegetables:
2 large ears corn, grilled, whether in or outside the shell, let cool and isolated nuclei
1 small red onion sliced, season with s & p and the grid, but not dirty, once a small cut grill
1 small yellow or red pepper, standing on its end, pepper cut parts out of what has 3 or 4 blocks as the previous season and grill. Peel and cut when you
6 to 8 Asparagus Spears, seasonal grilled over lightly, chop
Method
Combine all vegetables with greens in a large bowl. Pour some dressing, just enough to cover everything, shake it gently. Place a handful in each or 4 or 5 or 6 dishes and try to ensure that each dish is part of all vegetables.
This may be a first course, maybe a little goat or feta launched cheese on top? It may also be a side dish, in hot weather.
Sometimes I added golden beets, grilled squash, avocado, carrot, even on the grill.
Dressing
There are many ways to go here taste wise, but my choice is a basic balsamic vinaigrette with the addition of basil cool.
I make the dressing in the blender. (Amounts are approximate, and almost never measure)
I throw all these ingredients: 3 / 4 cup oil oil, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, 1 / 4 cup balsamic vinegar, splashing water, salt and pepper. When is creamy and the proportions are right I can add a fresh basil leaves or a bit of pesto and mix again. The basil added at the ratio of summer and sets this apart from your usual dressing balsamic vins.

Kitchen sink?
I want to install a new kitchen sink that has a durable finish, but I will not use stainless steel. What type of sink will finish Will (1) be of long duration, and (2) be resistant to scuff marks from metal pots? I'm considering a sink cast iron with a finish porcelein and appreciate any feedback about this election or any suggestions on other types of sinks. Once again, I do not steel steel. Thanks for your help.
I just got a new one last year his, Corian and I love it, I have had to change for many years in stainless steel .. It's so easy to keep clean .. Most of them clean and if marked, use a mild cleanser and comes off easily ... Clean only when needed and that is not often! Good luck I'm sure there are many options, but this is the only one who can talk about experience and it works!
