If you have not tried garage sales to find merchandise to sell on eBay, perhaps you should consider this option. There is a strategy to obtain maximum benefit of your garage sale shopping efforts. Here are some tips to help you maximize your efforts and minimize their time investment.
1) Plan ahead. Go to craigslist to look for garage sale ads in your area. More and more people are relying on craigslist for free advertising. Sales garage usually begin on Friday, and posts on Craiglist boot appears on Tuesdays. Daily control of new jobs, and maintain a list of sales in your area. Also can search the website of your local newspaper for garage sale ads. The large districts often advertised there. You can find a lot of items quickly if you go to neighborhood sales, compared with sales around the city.
2) Go to sales in the most prosperous city. First Instead, they will have better items. Secondly, you have no idea of the financial situation of the person and they can have a garage sale to pay the bills.
3) Go early. Most garage sales start at 8 AM. Arrive early for best selection. The earlier in the day to initiate the most likely have to find "good" things.
4) Take plenty of cash. You do not want to have to take valuable time to convince the buyer to take their check. Most people have a garage sale for a reason Â-to make money. They do not want the checks-they want cold, hard cash.
5) Be prepared. Comfortable walking shoes. Take bottled water. Keep snacks in the car. Bring your cell phone in case of finding something that is not sure, you can call your spouse or a friend for his opinion.
6) Do not be afraid to negotiate or make offers. People have garage sales to get rid of things. Do not want to have to carry everything back in the house at the end of the day. Make offers reasonable and fair.
7) Use the "cash in hand" technique. I do it all the time. Let's say you find something for $ 20, and I think it is too expensive. I quietly take a $ 10 bill in my pocket and walk to the seller. Then, with the bill in sight, say, "Hello, I'm interested in that topic there. I only have $ 10 left, would it?" Watch the money, the seller usually takes. The idea is reasonable. The later in the day used this technique works best.
I have some interesting stories on garage sales. I went to a neighborhood of large sale in my community last fall. She had all kinds of articles very nice clothes for men, shoes, golf equipment, sports goods, and "Material guy". I found a very good pair of Justin lizard skin boots, barely used, for $ 5. (These boots retail for about $ 300.) This is an amazing find. So I went to pay for the item, and she started telling me that she and her husband had a fight and left the city on a journey Hunting for a week. She had a garage sale and get rid of all the things she do not like. I asked, "will not track me and for me, right?" She just laughed and said: "Probably not. I could sell your car, too." These boots completed sale of $ 98 and were sent to Germany. Such may wonder what to look for garage sales.
Here are some examples of what I found, and the number of items sold on eBay.

What is the easiest way to peel an apple?
I have one of those fancy apple peeler / corer and I'm not going to buy one because they are expensive. Are there other options between that and try to do it with a knife? I tried to do it with a knife, but it was fun and it took me a long time among I lost a lot of apple. Any suggestions?
My mother uses a small, non-serrated knife ... also known as 'cut' a knife to do all this in one sweep, so to speak. Incidentally, I was at Wal-Mart looking for a scoop ice cream today (finally found the kind of chefs use appearing on television ice cream) and saw a police officer ... is the mark of the house .... for about $ 5 and it looked clean. If you do a lot of seasonal cooking and baking with them, invest in a good one ... Pampered Chef check out Ebay for a good price though.
