For some, a pan is dispensable, while the option of keeping a pan or a normal pot. While that is good in some homes, there's no denying it that a pot can do for you. Their diversity is something to behold. Pots and pans, others do not have the diversity that has a pan.

A pan can be used more than make the sauce, despite being the most common form of using the pan. Below are just a few ways in which the pans are multidimensional:

Skip - A saute requires a high concentration of heat and constant heat across the cooking area. Without even heat, stir-fried items unevenly cooked and runs the risk of food born illness.

Make Soups - Pots are perfect for cooking soups because they lack the breadth and depth to either heat or make soups safely.

Baking - Believe it or not, you can do the cooking in a saucepan. Again, the depth is very useful, along with safety handle all the pans are. Brownies, cakes, or some souffles can be done with a pan.

Manufacturer Stock - Stocks are easy to make in a saucepan. You do not need a special pot to make stock in Depending on what type of pot to buy, stocks are more easily made regular stockpots.

Look for pots that have a control that does not generate heat and a lid that has a handle on it for easy removal of the pan. That should not generate heat making it safer for you.

You can bake a cake in a pan?

I'm making a cake and do not want to go buy a small pot so that the top layer, but I have a sauce stainless steel pan is the perfect size, does anyone know if this will work?

If it's all metal (obviously) that works, but can affect the cooking time because it is thicker metal and will conduct more heat.
